Our Lake House is available to rent for weekends, holidays, or week-long vacations. We continue to add amenities for your enjoyment. Recently we have added: Railings leading to front door, only two steps; Large Fire Pit with seating and electrical switch for you to turn on/off string lights; Asphalt driveway and parking lot and asphalt from back door to lakefront dock; Gutters, entire home; Addition to back porch facing lake, added a drop down porch with railings for grilling station and seating, There are 2 large, adjustable umbrellas, one on each porch; Covered 1/2 of main porch to keep you cool if it’s hot and dry if it’s raining; A close friend provided a new bench, it’s located down by lakeside for quiet time and that first cup of morning coffee. We are in the process of staining all new additions, not completed but will be soon, if weather permits Our cozy cottage sleeps 6-8 comfortably. Master bedroom has king bed and attached bath, bedroom (2) has a queen bed and bedroom (3) has two twin extra long beds. All bedrooms have televisions. We also have a queen size air mattress, a full sized padded cot, and a pack-n-play available The kitchen has all new appliances and laundry room has new washer and dryer. On the outside raised deck, facing the lake, we have a gas grill and a blackstone grill with propane provided. We have several big pots for your fish fry , low country boil, or boiling peanuts. Down at the boathouse we installed a sink to make it easier to clean your fish after a long day on the lake. You will need to bring your own fishing equipment and bait. Also bring a few folding chairs for the dock, 4 single chairs are provided, located under sink on dock. We can’t leave our chairs out for you because of the wind. We provide everything else to make your stay as fun as possible. BUT, I must stress to you, please bring groceries, snacks, drinks or anything else you are planning on using with you as you check in. We are isolated from stores, really isolated. We have three spots around here and I provided pictures of them. Coops, about 15 miles from us, is a country store with a little bit of everything, including breakfast and lunch.. There is Anslies Country Store, they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner and have Hunt’s Pizza and Wings which is one of our favorites. New to our area is Island Creek General Store/Sweet Kraven/Bait & Tackle. A new restaurant, Amigo’s at the Cove, has recently opened providing great Mexican food and a variety of other choices from their loaded menu. The nearest Dollar General on Hwy 22, is about 30 minutes away. It’s 20 miles from our driveway to Lowes in Milledgeville but it will take you about 40 minutes to drive it. If you go by boat it takes about 15 minutes to get to three of the Mariners in Milledgeville. The nearest boat Landing is Cosby’s Landing Boat Launch, 475 Ramp Road, Sparta, GA 31087. It’s located off Carr Station Road which is en-route to our place.

This place was the perfect spot for our family! Extremely clean, easy check in and very cozy. Lulu was so friendly and communicated very quickly. All the beds were extremely comfortable which is a BIG deal! We brought our boat and jet ski. It was very convenient to put in at a boat ramp nearby. The cove was quiet and calm so we could swim and float for hours. Our kids really enjoyed the paddle boards. We will definitely be back!

The house was exceptionally clean and had all of the comforts of home. The dock was perfect for our boats and we had a blast swimming in the quiet cove. Our host made sure that we were well taken care of. We would definitely stay here again.

This rental was AMAZING! Lulu, the owner, thought of everything. She even provided a goodie basket with snacks for the kids, and adult kids with a sweet tooth. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable, it came with all the necessities. The fire pit or the dock down by the water is THE PLACE to be early in the morning when it’s still cool outside. It’s the most relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. At night, we did s’mores by the fire pit, listened to a little music and relaxed, which was a lot of fun. Firewood was provided! The property is pet friendly and tucked away in a quiet cove, but close to many things by boat. We were allowed access to their paddle boards, fishing poles, even a golf cart, which was extremely helpful when bringing our things back up the hill to the house. We will definitely be returning and recommend this lake house to all of our friends. Definitely a 10/10 rating

Our host Sandra was very Sweet and made sure we felt welcomed!! Loved the short time we stayed there. IThe home was clean and the view of the lake was so peaceful and the kids enjoyed making snores on the fire pit!! Thanks Sandra for the gift basket and treats you left we appreciated it !!
