A lovely cottage in the heart of Melrose. We felt very welcome here as it was so comfortable and quiet, yet conveniently situated next to all the shops.The welcome basket and goodies in the fridge were very much appreciated.
We enjoyed eating outside on the patio, and the kitchen was so well supplied, cooking wasn't a chore.
Loved the shower! Super place.

Everything was perfect, the central heating worked very well (although too hot when we arrived). Directions (what3words) to the house were tiptop and keys were in the right place.
The beds were very comfortable.
Two bathrooms is ideal.
I would have like to see a thermostatic tap (or at the very least a mixer tap - similar to the shower rooms), in the kitchen. The hob is not easy to use.
The lighting in the living room is too "White". A warmer white would be much better.

This place is extremely well appointed; fittings and furnishings are of a very high standard. It couldn't be in a better location for immediate enjoyment of the whole of Melrose. Great care was taken to make us feel welcome and comfortable including a generous selection of groceries.
There is basically nowhere to hang up coats apart from wardrobes upstairs. Managing after coming in from rain required some thought.
