The windmill is a beautiful and unique location to stay in.
Nice kitchen.
Host showed us how to prepare the sails and then he set the the windmill working.
Host helpful in all ways.

We loved the retro/historical decoration and the outdoors. We spent most our time in the garden. We also loved that the garden goes all around the windmill and that there are benches that we can use to contemplate it. We also loved the fireplace in the garden and used it a lot. Great experience.
No wifi in the garden.

Het spreekt vanzelf dat je bij de beoordeling van een verblijf in een antieke molen andere maatstaven moet aanleggen dan normaal het geval is. Het gaat om een onderdompeling in het verleden en de beleving daarvan. Luxe is daarbij niet aan de orde. Het was een volstrekt unieke ervaring die ik niet had willen missen, inclusief de enorme onweersbui met sterke windvlagen en stortbuien. De demonstratie van de molen en het laten draaien ervan vormde de kers op de taart.
De molen ligt aan een drukke, doorgaande weg.
In de molen is het verkeerslawaai nauwelijks te horen.
