We wanted a simple nice and affordable place to stay in a central but not overly touristy area of Venice, and this was exactly what we found! The location is really nice, easy to walk to from the train station or San Basilio terminal and also not far from various Vaporetto stations. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby without the area being too crowded.
Our host was very friendly. The bed was comfortable, the shared bathroom was clean and only shared between three rooms, and the shower was great. There was also air conditioning, which was very welcome given the high temperatures.
On our last day, we were able to leave our luggage in the hallway until afternoon, which was really helpful.
We would definitely stay here again!
All was good! The AC was a bit loud for sleeping, and a small table in the room would have been nice, but these are really just minor things!

Clean and quiet, in walking distance to train station.
Shared bathroom, even though it does not mention in the title of the room when booking.
In my opinion no difference between room categories. We picked the more expensive one, but honestly no real extra benefit.
Had three mosquitos in the room when checking in in April.

Ich suchte eine Unterkunft für eine Nacht unweit vom Tronchetto. Diese Erwartung hat die Unterkunft erfüllt.
Obwohl ich meine Ankunftszeit mitgeteilt hatte erkannte ich schon am Mail das mir der Besitzer schrieb dass er mich irrtümlich nach Mitternacht erwartete. Ich schrieb ein weiteres Mail um meine Ankunftszeit nochmals klar bekanntzugeben.
Als ich angekommen war öffnete mir niemand. Erst nach mehrmaligen Anrufen meldete sich der Besitzer telefonisch und ließ die Haustür nach einem umständlichen Suchen nach meinem Namen und langen Erklärungen meinerseits, dass ich doch darauf hingewiesen hätte, dass ich nicht nach Mitternacht käme, öffnen.
