Very homey, well equipped home with amenities in a great setting. Plenty to do close by. Grandparents, parents and two young boys. Great hiking. We will be back!

Walking into the house, the first thing you see are the woods across the river and the river itself through the windows that run across the back of the house. There wasn't a thing that we needed except to bring our own food. We felt like we were being welcomed into a relatives home. While we did a little bit of hiking, our main goal was to just relax enjoy the view and the sounds of the water flowing down the river and over the rocks. Mission certainly accomplished and then some. Highly recommend this house for rental.

The house is great! Location is beautiful. The house was clean and everything you might need was there! We loved the back porch, the fire pit, the river! A great place to stroll around. Thankfully we did not see any bears! We enjoyed a float down the river. The hot tub was clean and ready to use. The coffee bar had everything you might need. We will definitely be back!

This was such a wonderful home for our long weekend away! We wanted a place where my husband and son could fish from the backyard, and this fit the bill. The rest of us loved the views of the river. It was so relaxing to see the running water from our bedroom, the living room, or the porches! It was a very comfortable set up. We had my two year old son, me and my husband, and our parents (including one with mobility issues). Everyone had their own comfortable space as well as comfortable gathering spots for us to be together! The hosts have put in a lot of attention to small details that make a difference. Having a toddler in tow, it was so nice that they had a pack n play, high chair, and even toddler/kid utensils and dinnerware stocked! The coffee bar was enjoyed every morning, and they have everything we needed for cooking our meals at home, plus lots of extra treats like wine and a snack basket. They even had extra ponytail ties in the master bath--so thoughtful! The location was convenient to town, and our crew enjoyed the hot tub and the tubes they provided. We drove upstream a couple miles, put our tubes in at the Cartecay Canoe Launch, and were able to float right to our backyard and get out there! We would definitely rent this home again and recommend it to others.

The cabin was exactly as described and seen in the photos. It was clean and spacious. With two families, the double master bedrooms/bathrooms were wonderful. The kitchen had more than we thought we needed including an Instant Pot! We loved the coffee bar with the special mugs. It was such a fun touch! My boys had a blast playing in and floating down the river everyday. My husband fished, while I enjoyed listening to the river flowing by. Our families enjoyed the firepit. We traveled to Tumbling Waters Trail and Amicalola State Park. Downtown Ellijay has many good restaurants and cute stores to shop in.

We stayed here for our family mountain vacation! The house was awesome with easy access to the river for swimming and tubing fun. House has everything you could need and our favorite, fully stocked coffee bar! Sitting on the porch with coffee and listening to the sounds of the river! We would definitely stay here again! Great house and location!

We had a wonderful stay at the river house! The house had everything you could possibly need and more. There were so many special touches around the house and the house has everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the hot tub, listening to the river and making s'mores at the fire pit. The location is easy to get to and near town! Would definitely return to stay again.

6 older adults (3 couples) spent 5 days here and we all had a wonderful time! The house was very accommodating and we all had plenty of room. The back deck was very nice to sit and watch the river. Overall experience was very nice!

Has everything you need and more! Very spacious. Great communication! The kids loved the upstairs. I personally loved the bed swing, even took a small nap on it with the sound of the river. For 5 of us, we were never crowded.

Wonderful house with ALL amenities we could imagine. Perfect house size and comfort facilities for our party of five adults a two young children. Best tool supplied was powerful electric leaf blower with charger and two charged batteries. (Great for clearing deck, porch, driveway and sidewalks when we first arrived.) Perfect location for access to river for fly fishing. Best place overall our family has ever stayed for vacation.

This property was very relaxing! It’s right on the river, so we were able to watch the geese each morning as we ate breakfast. The home is very clean, and there are little special touches everywhere - from the s’mores kit to the snack baskets to the toiletries in the bathroom to the fully stocked coffee bar (flavored syrups, creamers, tea, and cocoa, too!). There was great communication with the property contact. The location is close to the city and is easily accessible is paved roads. We also appreciated that there was easy access for our handicapped and elderly parents with bedrooms on the main floor, a walk-in shower in the bathroom & only one step into the home. We highly recommend!!!

The house was wonderful. Very clean and had everything you would need plus extras. The owner's took care of small extras such as the supplies to make smores by the fire, innertubes for the lake, even extra towels for the hot tube or lake. It is right on the lake which is nice, but less than 10 mins from restaurants in Ellijay and just minutes from the apple orchards. I marked this place to definitely come back again.

My husband and I took our 3 kids here for a vacation close to home. The home was clean and tidy and had so many nice offerings from the owner such as a coffee bar, snack basket for the kids, smores kit, and even a bottle of wine. While the property management was difficult to get in touch with, the owner was very helpful and responsive. It's the perfect location on the river and we all had a great time fishing, swimming and tubing down the small rapids. We would definitely stay here again.

It was very nice! The river was deeper than pictured so the 2 year old & 1 year old did not get in but just a few more years it will be perfect for all the kids. Extremely nice touches the wine, chocolates, the kids loved all the toys & the ps4 & books & board games my 9 year old loved. We loved the hot tub & porch swing was awesome to relax while hearing the river water in the background was so relaxing. With all the nice amenities it was like a home away from home!!

We rented this wonderful cabin for 8 people. Very cozy and comfortable! We had tons of fun in the river and using the bonfire pit and the hot tub. Would love to come back again sometime!

This is a wonderful home that feels nothing like a rental, rather like you are staying at a family members home. There were wonderful touches to the home that made it extremely welcoming. St. Pattys day decorations, snacks and goodies for our kids, hair ties in the bathrooms for the ladies, champagne for mimosas (who doesnt love a good mimosa on vacay), and many more. The coffee bar is awesome! The upstairs loft was PERFECT for the kids! The firepit and river in the backyard was everything we hoped for. The pictures don't do it justice. The crashing water rapids next door provided soothing white noise for the cold weather hot tub nights! Having stayed in many rentals in my travels, this one ranks extremely high on the list! We had a blast and absolutely will return!!

We went to this cabin near the end of October! We had a fabulous time! Everything was so nice and clean! It was equipped with everything you need to feel like you are home! Beautiful views of the river. We took our kids and grandkids with us! Plenty of room for us all. We went to the pumpkin patch, the Falls, Shopping and out to dinner. We also spend quality time at the cabin making fun memories! Can’t wait to go back!

We stayed during Thanksgiving and it was wonderful! The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. The coffee bar was an added bonus with all kinds of coffee and creamers. The cabin is right on the river and perfect for family time. Very quiet and close to stores and sites. Owner was great and made sure to contact us and answered any questions we had. We will plan to stay there again!
