About this apartment rental
This is a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit that is located on the 2nd floor of the C building. The master bedroom has a king bed and its own private bath. The guest bedroom has 2 double beds. The living room sofa will pull out to make a queen sleeper. Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and pots/pans that are ready for your use. Unit as tile floors with carpet in the bedrooms. There is also a washer and dryer in the unit. Enjoy the sunset, children playing in the courtyard or the pool from you own private covered balcony.
Beach Service – If you didn’t pre-reserve beach chairs, just stop by the beach hut or call the Excel team at In addition to chairs and umbrellas, Excel offers kayaks and paddle boards for rent, as well as an assortment of snacks and drinks.
Tennis, Basketball, Pickleball, and Shuffleboard – Forget your gear? No worries, you can check out rackets, balls, and more at the front desk at no charge!
Grilling Out – In the busy months of spring and summer, many families opt to grill out rather than go out. We have eight charcoal grills available. There are several seafood markets nearby, including Blalock’s which is just a block to the west (p.s., their tuna dip is a must try!).
Fitness Center – Did you know we have a fitness center in the Penthouse building? Just stop by the front desk to borrow the key.
Family Activities – There’s always something fun on the itinerary at Silver Dunes:
• Annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Courtyard – Easter Sunday, 9 am in the courtyard
• Scavenger Hunts – Throughout the Spring – for children of all ages! Just stop by the office to pick up your scavenger hunt necessities. Once you’ve collected everything, stop back by the office to pick a surprise from the Silver Dunes treasure chest!
• Movies in the Courtyard – Bring a picnic blanket, your beach chairs, and join us on Mondays at dusk throughout June and July. We show a different family-friendly movie each week.
• S’mores Nights with Live Music at the Pool –Wednesday nights are awesome at Silver Dunes! Throughout June and July, the firepits will be out, s’mores roasting, and tunes playing!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Silver Dunes. By far the best place in the area to stay with small children. Easy walk to the beach and a great green space for kids to run. We will be back next year!

We’ve been staying at Silver Dunes for years and absolutely love this property. We know the price is high but we’re willing to pay that for the location and convenience of beach access and the amazing area for kids at night.That being said, this condo really needs some updating-it has a constant smell of mold/mildew-which they know is an issue since they have a very very loud dehumidifier you have to run your entire stay in here. For the price you pay, this should really be addressed.Also, a fan in the bedrooms (even a box fan) would be a great touch!Overall-great location and we’ll be back to Silver Dunes, just not this particular condo.
