We really enjoyed our stay. We prefer to stay away from the hustle and traffic of Gulf Shores, so staying on the Bon Secour River was just what we wanted. The property was very clean, comfortable, and quite enjoyable. Sitting on the deck was a very pleasant way to sip tea and enjoy each morning. Billy’s Seafood was a favorite stop as we do not get to enjoy fresh grouper and shrimp in Michigan. Amber was very helpful and most pleasant to work with if I had any questions. The kitchen was stocked with what we needed. One minor issue would be to provide more kitchen garbage bags. As I said minor, as we bought some, which of course, we will use at home.Thank you for the use of your apartment!

The host communicated very well with us on expectations, home accommodations, and hospitality interests. She even had extra blankets for us if the power went out! We appreciate her concern and help.

We love Amber’s home. We came a few weeks ago over Labor Day weekend and came back again for a week. We loved the restaurant next door and ate there three times. All the kitchen needs are here and well stocked.Shampoo, conditioner and body wash available in the shower. The most comfortable beds.It felt like “home” the whole time. The community is small and quiet. Amber is a fantastic host and I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful get away.
