The Hilo International airport is 40 minutes away and renting a vehicle is the best way for transportation around the Big Island. The Pacifica Inn is located in the town of Volcano which is an altitude of 4,000 feet. Volcano is very tropical and rain can fall anytime during the day or night. Temperatures can get cold at night so we highly recommend you pack warm clothes along with your swimsuits.
