A true gem of a place! I performed a last minute booking with few expectations but fortunately fell upon this wonderful space. The cottage's decor truly captures the ambiance of the coastal Carolina experience. The cottage sits on a large nicely landscaped yard with plenty of parking and privacy gates. The host was exceptionally kind, truly went out of his way to help ensure my comfort. Looking forward to coming back with my family this summer and enjoying the place again!

Ample easy parking. Expert landscaping all around, with fountain. Fire pit in the back yard. Spacious not cramped on the inside. Big livingroom. Comfy beds and two bathrooms.
The location is okay if you are fine with needing to drive everywhere. Downtown Wilmington is far off, the beach at Wrightsville is about 15 minutes by car. There is nothing in the immediate vicinity to walk to. You cannot walk to a store. The main drag, Market Street, is very close and somewhat intense, so this spot does not qualify as secluded even if the landscaping does a good job of giving the property a relaxed out-of-the-way look and feel. The neighborhood away from Market Street is mostly quiet and residential.
