We had a fantastic stay at Vrachos Suites and would absolutely recommend it.
The suites are beautiful, spacious, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Everything is well maintained and thoughtfully arranged, making it a perfect place to relax after a long day exploring Athens.
The location is excellent — very convenient for discovering the city, with plenty of restaurants, cafés and places to visit nearby.
What really made our stay special, though, was the kindness and hospitality of everyone there. They were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating, always willing to assist us with anything we needed. We were a large group, and they made everything easy for us, from our arrival to helping with our luggage and other little details throughout our stay.
Beautiful rooms, great location, excellent cleanliness and, above all, genuinely warm and welcoming people.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Vracho Suites to anyone visiting Athens!
One thing worth mentioning is that the building does not have an elevator. However, they arranged for someone to help us carry our luggage both up to the rooms when we arrived and back down when we left. As we were a large group with quite a lot of luggage, this assistance was absolutely essential and very much appreciated.

Lovely place - central, clean, amazing balcony and lovely responsive and helpful staff. They even ran a bottle opener to us one evening!
Nothing - lovely place to stay. Just be aware there’s no lift if you’re a bit less mobile or have heavy suitcases!

We had a wonderful stay at Vrachos Athens Suites and couldn’t have been happier with the experience.
The suite was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality and communication from the Vrachos team. From the beginning of our stay until the moment we left, they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and responsive.
Every request we had was handled promptly and with such a positive attitude. Whether we needed fresh towels, coffee pods, glasses, or assistance with something in the room, they were always quick to help and genuinely seemed to care that we were comfortable and enjoying our stay.
They also went out of their way to accommodate our arrival and departure arrangements, which made our trip considerably easier and more relaxed. We really appreciated their flexibility and thoughtfulness.
The communication throughout our stay was excellent—warm, personal, and professional without ever feeling intrusive. It’s clear that they take great pride in looking after their guests.
One helpful note for future guests: because of the historic nature of the building, there is no elevator. Also, what is described as the second floor can involve roughly three levels of stairs due to a mezzanine level in between. This wasn’t an issue for us, but it’s worth keeping in mind if you’re traveling with heavy luggage or have difficulty with stairs.

I stayed at Vrachos Athens Suites for two nights. The location is very convenient for exploring Athens and the communication with the team was friendly and helpful.
However, there were several things that affected the comfort of my stay. I was not aware when booking that there was no physical reception. Personally, when booking a hotel, I prefer having a reception and staff available on-site, especially when travelling alone. I would have appreciated this being communicated more clearly before booking.
I also found it uncomfortable that there was no lock on the inside of the room door and no peephole. As I was travelling alone, I would have felt much more comfortable with both.
The sound insulation was quite poor. I could hear a lot of noise from the neighbouring rooms, including people flushing the toilet, and there was quite a lot of noise during the night and again early in the morning.
Another downside was the lack of natural daylight. My window faced directly onto a wall, so very little daylight entered the room and the room felt quite dark during the day.
Overall, the location is a definite plus and the team was pleasant and helpful, but the lack of a reception, limited security features, poor sound insulation and lack of natural daylight significantly affected my overall comfort. I would recommend making these aspects clearer in the description so guests know what to expect before booking.
