I had mixed feelings about my stay. On the positive side, the house is in a quiet, peaceful area surrounded by nature, which is great if you’re looking to disconnect. The café/restaurant of the house is very nice, different options to choose from and the setting feels very calm.
The property itself looks brighter and more modern in photos than in reality. My room was quite dark, and some areas (like the bathroom and common spaces) felt a bit worn.
The location can be inconvenient without a scooter. It’s about a 6–7 minute walk from the main road through a dark path, so I often had to take a tuk-tuk at night to feel comfortable. Also, despite being described as a surf house, there were no social or group activities, and the place was very quiet during my stay.
When I arrived, I asked if I could adjust my booking due to the location, but this wasn’t possible because of their policies, which is understandable.
