The apartment was a great spot to base ourselves for a couple of days and venture out for walks and drives. Close to Klaksvic but not in the heart of the city it was quieter, but still easy to head there for restaurants and ferry to Kalsoy, or day tripping to Kunoy and surrounds. There is a grocery store very close by. The apartment was warm and cosy.
We had chosen this property specifically knowing we needed washing facilities at this stage of our trip, but on arrival were told the machine (in the hosts apartment, not the rented apartment) was not working. Had we been notified of that we may have been able to make alternate arrangements prior to arriving. There are no laundromat facilities in the Faroe Islands, (aside from a commercial one in Torshavn that our host suggested) so it is not easy to just duck out and do it locally.

The apartment was very cosy, well equipped, and the communication with the host Jensa was very good. We only stayed one night but truly enjoyed the place.
Nothing major to complain about. There was no TV signal but eventually we decided that a walk around the town would be better anyway :)
