Really decent room. It was nice to have an ensuite. Even if it was a tad small. Really great value room. I slept really well so I'm very happy the blinds and curtains offered near blackout darkness so it was definitely a bonus. If I'm ever going back to south shields I'd be checking availability here first.
If I'm nit picking I would say the shower door was a bit loose so kept opening whilst I was in the shower. But that's a very small issue and not gonna affect my review.

Clean, well presented, great facilities
Room could benefit with a brighter main light and a mirror in the bathroom to help with shaving, and brushing of hair.

The room was a reasonable size and was warm and comfortable and close to the event that I was working at
Parking was terrible with every side street lined bumper to bumper on both sides. Shower was good although the shower door had to be held shut with my knee or elbow as it had a tendancy to open. No chair or table in the room so difficult to complete my work and finally the WiFi didn't work, repeatedly stating that the password was incorrect. When I contacted the company via telephone, they insisted that the password was correct. Found that another hotel only half a mile away offered breakfast, a restaurant, car park and internet for only around £20 more
