At approximately 20 feet long, she is much easier to drive and park than a traditional RV, yet still offers a king-size bed, full kitchen, enclosed wet bath, air conditioning, abundant storage and a powerful upgraded lithium electrical system. Whether you’re planning a weekend in Big Sur, a road trip through the redwoods or an extended national-park adventure, Goldie gives you the flexibility to camp with hookups or comfortably spend time off-grid. Upgraded Lithium Power for Off-Grid Camping Goldie has two upgraded lithium battery banks, 300 watts of rooftop solar and a 3,000-watt pure-sine-wave inverter. You can use household outlets, charge electronics, watch TV and operate many of the van’s amenities without plugging into shore power or running a noisy portable generator. 2. Quiet Under-Hood Generator and Automatic VoltStart Instead of a separate gasoline generator, Goldie recharges her coach batteries through an under-hood engine generator while you drive or idle. Her VoltStart system can automatically start the engine when the lithium batteries become depleted, recharge them and then shut the engine back off. This system can also support use of the rooftop air conditioner while off-grid. Actual air-conditioning runtime depends on the outside temperature, thermostat setting and other electrical use. 3. King-Size Bed or Twin-Bed Layout The rear lounge converts into a spacious king-size bed for two adults. It can also be arranged as two separate sleeping areas when preferred. Goldie sleeps up to three and has four seatbelts, making her especially comfortable for couples, solo travelers or a small family. 4. Fully Equipped Kitchen Prepare meals wherever the road takes you with a propane stove, large 12-volt refrigerator and freezer, microwave, sink, granite countertop and real wood cabinetry. The generous refrigerator is especially useful on longer trips where grocery stores may be far away. 5. Private Bathroom and Hot Water Goldie has an enclosed wet bath with a flushing toilet, shower and sink, plus onboard fresh, gray and black water tanks. An instant hot-water system provides hot water without waiting for a traditional tank to heat. 6. Comfortable in Any Season Stay cool with the rooftop air conditioner and ventilation fan, or warm up on chilly evenings with the propane furnace. Recessed LED lighting keeps the interior bright without consuming much battery power. 7. Entertainment and Optional Starlink Goldie includes a smart 12-volt television, Blu-ray player and powered rooftop antenna. Optional Starlink satellite internet can provide high-speed connectivity in many places where cellular service is unavailable—including areas around Big Sur, Yosemite, Pinnacles and the redwoods. 8. Easy and Comfortable to Drive Built on the Ram ProMaster 3500 chassis, Goldie has a gasoline V6 engine, automatic transmission, front-wheel drive and a backup camera. Her elevated seating position provides excellent visibility, while her compact Class B dimensions make her far less intimidating than a large motorhome. Goldie typically achieves approximately 16–18 mpg on the highway and around 14 mpg in town, depending on driving conditions, speed and load. California’s North Coast Other Things to Know • Absolutely no Burning Man or unauthorized trips to the Playa. Goldie is unavailable for Burning Man dates, and an unauthorized trip may result in loss of the security deposit and additional cleaning or damage charges. • No smoking or vaping inside the van. • No off-road driving. Goldie must remain on paved roads and maintained campground or access roads. • Renters are responsible for following all operating and checkout instructions, including proper use of the lithium system, VoltStart, awning, water system and holding tanks. • The black and gray tanks must be emptied before return unless a prepaid dumping service has been arranged. • Air-conditioning runtime while off-grid varies with weather, battery condition and electrical usage and is not guaranteed for a fixed number of hours. • Starlink availability and performance depend on an unobstructed view of the sky and satellite coverage.
