Die Lage war wirklich prima, direkt an der Spaarne, nur wenige Fußminuten vom Grote Markt und der Bavokerk entfernt, zugleich schön ruhig. Auch die Wohnung selbst ist schön gestaltet und strahlt eine angenehm-erholsame Atmosphäre aus.
Angesichts der Bezeichnung "Luxury Residenz" hätten wir erwartet, dass die Küchenausstattung mindestens gleichwertig zu anderen Wohnungen gewesen wäre (wir waren vorher in Brüssel und Antwerpen - und hatten in preislich deutlich günstigeren Wohnungen ganz klar die bessere Ausstattung an Küchengeräten und Geschirr). Die "Spaarne Luxury Residenz" war da eher einfach bzw. "spartanisch".
Bezüglich der Sauberkeit wäre es schön gewesen, wenn die Balken im Wohnzimmer mal vom dicken Staub befreit worden wären. Kaum hatten wir einen Luftzug im Raum sammelten sich immer wieder dicke Staubflusen am Boden und auf den Tischen - bis wir mittels des langen Staubsaugerrohres zur Selbsthilfe griffen...

The house is stunning, you have everything you need. Perfect for a group of 4 people or less. We just loved the design, comfort, a lot of space.
Everything is fine, just note that stairs are quite narrow and small so it’s bit challenging if you are tall, but that’s just a minor advice.

The location was excellent, close to downtown and shops and cafes, etc. views from the main living area are fantastic along the canal. Beds were very comfortable.
It was very hot without much air flow- this was due to the heatwave conditions. The fans were helpful, but the main room sat at 27 degrees for most of our stay.

The good: location, views, spacious historic building, washing machine & dishwasher.

The NOT so good:
*Need clean Spare pillows with covers.
One lousy stained pillow is just not good enough .See photo .
*A sharp knife in the kitchen . The only large knife is a bread knife & just doesn’t cut it.
*More laundry liquid sachets or more towels for long stays.We had to wash the towels for our 6 night stay.
The white walls are very grubby and detract from the “luxurious”description of the property.
Finally THE MICROWAVE.. has been broken since 2024 and mentioned 7 times in reviews on your company website (trust me I counted).
Come on Rental Valley!
A “ fully equipped kitchen “ needs a working microwave.
A new microwave costs less than one nights tariff… and while you are at it pick up a cheap toaster.
If you really take visitors reviews seriously then be more proactive.
