Gute Lage für die Innenstadt von Laon , sehr gute Ausstattung der Ferienwohnung, wir haben den Chemin des Dames und die weitere Umgebung bis Compiene, St Quetin, Soisons besucht
sehr enge Stiege zum Zugang in den zweiten Stock zur Ferienwohnung, für kleine Kinder und gehbehinderte Personen kann es schwierig werden
sehr laut zwischen einer stark befahrenen Nebenstraße und einer Strasse zur Innenstadt gelegen, eher kritische Parkplatz Situation in unmittelbarer Umgebung

Appartement très propre, décoré avec goût, au calme, propriétaire très réactif, proche du centre-ville de Laon mais possibilité de se garer dans la rue sans problème, une adresse à recommander

The apartment itself is large, stylish and comfortable and is located 20 minutes from the Cathedral and the main restaurants.
In the all years using Booking.com I have never encountered being charged extra for bedding and towels, which was not made clear at time of booking. On arrival it is unacceptable that we had to make up our beds after 8 hours travelling. Mattress protector was dirty, with bits, hairs and markers on it and not freshly washed, notified host immediately by WhatsApp, Host gave us a clean one the following day so had to sleep on dirty mattress protector 1st night and yet again we had to remake bed. Bedding was not ironed.
On departure you are expected to strip beds and bring all linen down 3 flights of stairs and bring rubbish down as we were leaving at 6am this was not appreciated. Access and safety-although there is an automatic lighting system to light staircase and dark passage way did not operate quickly enough my wife fell down 2 Steps as a result. The apartment is on the 2nd floor via a steep spiral staircase not ideal for guest who may struggle with this type of staircase.
House rules - far too many which made our stay feel less relaxed. For example guests are instructed to complete an inventory and report damage within 24 hours. We found some broken mugs which were already chipped and therefore felt obliged to report, Surely the condition of the inventory and equipment should be checked by host before guest arrive.
Parking is on a local street pot luck as to whether you can find a space.
