Castlewood is a dream country property and one that we would love to stay again. Host was amazing throughout the stay and super helpful on anything we asked on. Property was spacious, very comfortable with all possible amenities we needed for a family of 5. We loved the garden, the views onto the countryside and mountains in the distance, with noise of the sheep in the distance. We also loved the remoteness and quiet of the location while just 20 minutes away from the Brecon Beacon National Park.
WiFi was on/off but we didn't really care too much as the whole purpose was to switch off and enjoy the countryside.

Very well appointed and lovely setting if a bit too remote.
Farm track quite tricky to get there with overgrown hedges and very steep roads. Mattress in main room was quite thin and uncomfortable. Also we had to call office at 8pm to get the key code. Luckily we had phone reception and someone picked up. Delayed getting into property for a while and was getting dark.

It was a beautiful location with amazing views.
The attic room had no door and no blinds or curtains.
