The Eel Pie Island location was amazing. We needed to be near York House and wanted to be near Richmond park - but it was more than special being on the island itself.
I would have liked a coffee table of some sort and the TV was just too high. I could easily see that the placement of these items would prove a challenge but I think the layout/placement of the furniture could have been improved but only for the enjoyment of the convivality of the space. Of course it was beautiful and full or amazing local curios and fabulous themes.

Good location (though absolutely no view of the river, although the picture suggests that it does) and a comfortable, spacious place for 4 people. Responsive hosts and a very well equipped place to stay.
No view at all of the river and no outside space, so a bit oversold in this respect. Also use of an app to get in hence the need to use your phone. The instructions as to how to find and get into the Boathouse weren't as clear as they should and could have been.
