The reception staff were very accommadating and the location great, easy walk to the Mercado, Bus Station (buses to Playa del Carmen and long distance destinations and on the street where local buses run continuously to Plaza La Isla and that area and to the Ferry Port.
The second time I stayed in one room and the A/C was noisy as and the ceiling fan did not work. I was able to change rooms but was given a room without a Window and again the fan did not work. The main light on the bed head did not work.
I knew this but be aware there is no lift.

The decoration in my room was a bit creepy and I could not figure out how to get hot water in the shower
