the stay was fantastic and it being so close to the Shakespeare’s birthplace that we were visiting was very convenient. Thank you also for allowing us to park until 1 after vacating the property. It allowed us to visit Shakespeare’s then come back to fetch the car avoiding having sort out parking in a tricky area. Overall very pleased!!

Great location. Bonus to have a car park could use before check in.
Hosts gave excellent directions to car park and how to get into the property. Would def stay again.
I would advertise the steep stairs going up to the property.

Spacious. Clear instructions for check in. Great location within walking distance to Stratford upon avon. Parking space included. The fan in the main room was a nice gesture.
The oven was not cleaned. So we could not use it. The bed (especially the one in the green room) was super soft. We prefer firm mattresses. The door to the right side of the property keeps overshooting its lock position and getting stuck on the wrong side of the lock.

Great location, walkable to everything downtown.
The bedding really needs to be changed.. It's old, stained and smelly.. The first time we noticed this was late at night as we were going to bed.. The pillows smelt so bad I was thinking that I wouldn't be able to sleep on it.. Lucky for us, we always travel with a pack of one time use pillow cases, so we were able to use them on this occasion..
I had previously messaged the property to setup the sofa bed for our stay, but never got a straight answer to the request. On arrival, it wasn't setup, so I messaged the host again, and this time, he answered that they don't set up the sofa bed for visitors, but simply provide the bedding for us to set it up ourselves.. I would have preferred if they had told me up front instead of ignoring the request.
