Once we connected with the host, it was easy to follow his instructions and find the keys to get into the apartment.
At first we had trouble connecting with the host. I was messaging through the booking.com app and not receiving any replies. I had to call Booking.com customer service and we were at risk of having our apartment cancelled due to not connecting with the host. But then we thought, let's just check WhatsApp.....and sure enough...the host had been communicating through WhatsApp without our knowledge. Lesson learned here.....make sure WhatsApp is downloaded and that you are checking that app for possible communications. Once we connected we got into the apartment just fine.

Clean, modern, well equipped.
Some handles to the doors were loose. Too many keys to get in. Would have liked a dust pan to clean during our stay. The bathroom with the standup shower smelled like sewer here and there.

Our little gem in Rome. We would only stay here when we return.
We found The Best in Rome Orologio unexpectedly after an AC fiasco at another accommodation and it ended up being one of the absolute gems of our trip.
First and very importantly: THE AC!!! Exceptional. Every bit as good as we hoped and our host had even cooled the apartment for us before we arrived. Walking into a beautifully cool apartment after the heat of Rome was heavenly.
Then there was the location. It is almost impossible to beat. We were right in the historic center, minutes from Ponte Sant’Angelo and within easy walking distance of so much of Rome. Had it not been for my injured foot, we could have walked almost everywhere. We could even see the beautiful Torre dell’Orologio from our window.
And somehow, despite being in the middle of everything, the apartment was incredibly quiet. You could hear a needle drop.
The apartment itself was contemporary, comfortable and absolutely spotless. Clean, clean, clean. The sheets smelled wonderfully fresh and everything felt exceptionally well cared for. It was comfortable and practical for our family while still giving us that wonderful feeling of staying right in the heart of historic Rome.
And there is an elevator!!! This was enormously important for us because of my mobility limitations, but even without that, anyone arriving with luggage or traveling with children will appreciate it.
Another feature we absolutely loved was the functional shutters. Close them and you could practically make it midnight in the middle of the day. Between the powerful AC, complete darkness, incredible quiet and comfortable fresh bedding, we could actually rest properly after exploring Rome.
Our host was incredible. The fact that she thought to cool the apartment before our arrival says so much about the level of care and hospitality we experienced.

Super lokalizacja. Idealna do zwiedzania Rzymu. Duża przestrzeń apartamentu.
Konieczność zameldowania się do godziny 19:00. Zameldowanie po tej godzinie to koszt 80 Euro. Po 22:00 - 100 Euro. Uważam że to dość wygórowana kwota.
