The room was clean and comfortable, with a great mattress, spacious wardrobes, high ceilings, and lovely decor. The location was also excellent, making it a very convenient place to stay.
We liked everything about our stay. The only thing guests should be aware of is that the building does not have a lift, so you’ll need to carry your luggage up to the second floor.

The location is perfect, just a step away from the old town.
The building itself is such a beautiful heritage gem, while the room and the entrance is modern, bright, and tastefully furnished.
The highlight of the room is definitely the bathroom, with designer shower amenities, lovely shampoo, and soaps.
We were also welcomed with coffee and tea, and there was a coffee machine and kettle available for our convenience.
When we asked for additional towels, the housekeeper was there and happily helped us.
Thank you Katarina for hosting us!

A cosy small double room, nicely furnished, with a clear design and practical.
The very modern and almost freshly renovated overall impression hides quite a classic case of poor construction:
- The shower drains halfway towards the bathroom entrance. The floor is always wet and super slippery.
- The wall in the shower next to the toilet already has moisture damage on the outside. The stool in front of it hides it at first.
- The wardrobe is far too small for several days and two people. Three hangers are far too few. The request for two more could not be accommodated.
- In the bedroom there is no chair or stool. There are no options to hang things up, e.g. for drying or airing.
- THE BIGGEST PROBLEM: The six-digit main entrance code is way too simple and NEVER changed. The four-digit room code made of ONLY two numbers is also way too easy. You can't lock it from the inside at all and there is no safe either. I usually took valuables or tech with me and didn't leave them in the room. So it's not a spot for a workation if you don't want to risk your operational equipment and documents.
It's really sad that landlords like this exploit living space. Even my friendly greetings in the stairwell were hardly ever returned. That says it all to me - and the house rules from residents posted for tourists in the stairwell several times just underline it. It's a shame to see a UNESCO World Heritage site being run down and new problems created by private greed.
