Wonderful boutique gem. An oasis in Athens, and just enough on the fringe to enjoy the cities offerings without the hoards of tourists. The gigantic room we were allocated, it's stunning decor, the double shower, the pool, all were very high quality and tasteful. Gorgeous serene garden atmosphere with a village atmosphere 👌
The technology of opening door, air con and blinds were great. Super clean, staff there very on top of things. Loved the WhatsApp comms for front of house staff, excellent. Loved being next door to Technopolis for music offerings and sound checks. Close to metro and fab cafes, very arty surroundings.
Breakfast was a little monotonous given we stayed 5 nights, maybe a few daily specials to spark things up and some of the staff needed to be a little more attentive to guests and to requests. It's the little things that count when you're paying $$$$. Only street parking, which we knew about however it may be good to communicate with arriving guests for luggage drop off and help on approach and departure. An extra bin in vanity area.

Perfect location in a cool part of town and easy to get to the centre; a beautifully designed hotel with a gorgeous courtyard garden; calm and quiet (didn’t hear noise from any other guests); friendly staff, great breakfast.
We had a few issues during our stay, which probably don’t usually happen but they affected our enjoyment and we don’t think enough was done to recognise that. First, everything is automated (entry, blinds, lights) and there were electrical faults which meant that all the lights came on twice in the middle of the night, and on two of the others nights there was a loud beep sound several times in the night, so we had disturbed sleep on 3/4 nights. When we mentioned the issues to the staff they were pleasant and tried to fix them but didn’t do any more to check if we were happy or offer anything to apologise - not a 5* experience. Second, the pool was closed because of a technical issue. These things happen, but communication around it could have been better. Finally, the staff were very friendly and quick to respond to questions but the experience overall was quite impersonal - nobody showed us to our room when we arrived, everything is automated with communication over WhatsApp - some will prefer that approach and it has its perks but it wasn’t our preference.
