The feeling of the hostel with kind people and gentle animals is just so lovely. It has all you need; a kitchen, comfortable seating inside and out, warm water if you need.... And it is so well placed for the bus. Obviously, everything in Hiriketiya is walkable but it is also nice that Dikwella is so close too.
We couldn't ask for more, especially after I left my ear buds and Venera so kindly contacted me to say so. Very kind.

The environment, the vibe, the people, the animals
One of the best hostels I've stayed, not just about the hostel the vibe there is amazing, so beautiful animals the owners are amazing and the volunteers there are doing an amazing job

Lovely cosy hostel. The staff are super lovely and the pets are the cutest. The hostel is well located in a peaceful area while being still close to everything.It has quite a small, intimate and social vibe so I would recommend for solo travellers

Location and price great, bed comfy
Bathroom was dirty, no loo roll and someone’s business left in the toilet when I arrived
