The pub is oozing with character, very old and traditional Australian Hotel. I absolutely loved it.

Original building and homey vibe
The roaches in the bathroom but also I understand in the climate of australia, but they were the small roaches not the odd palmetto bug

Could not fault the service, very friendly and helpful and we ate dinner there which was also very nice, great location, close to Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera house. Walking distance to the Ship departures.

Location! It was nice having the bar and restaurant there! And the breakfast fruits were delicious
Had some issues with what felt like should have been NON issues: such as our window wouldn’t close all the way! There was about a six inch gap clear at the top! This made our room extra noisy, and with the older windows/walls It was already very noisy! In all directions and very late into the night! Not a good place to sleep on a game night! I couldn’t turn on the bathroom lights in one of the shared bathrooms, which I was unaware of that we wouldn’t have our own! It is winter…. And our room was extremely cold! Several steep stairs and no elevator. Staff was great to assist with luggage on arrival.
