The location was lovely, and the house was really well equipped. Loved the hot tub as well.
There seems to be areal issue with woodlice in the property. Never seen so many inside any home. They were everywhere, including upstairs in the bedrooms, on the walls and ceilings too. Vacuumed them up but they kept coming. Let owners know on day of check out so I’m sure they will sort it before their next guests arrive. Without the bugs the place would be perfect!

Lovely property in a great location, clean, well equipped and a pleasure to stay there.
Nothing at all.

The old boathouse was an amazing find!
The location is outstanding. So peaceful and a wonderful view of the lighthouse.
Mandy and Phil provided everything we needed for a very comfortable stay.
Would definitely visit again.
There is nothing to dislike about this property. It’s perfect ❤️

Location is great for the lighthouse, walks and Lobster Pot.
Beds comfortable but access from one side restrictive.
The hot tub was a nice luxury with great views.
View from the decking at the side is beautiful and protected from the wind.
Views from the house itself were very resisted.
Narrow spiral staircase - approx half the width of a normal staircase, which would have been ok but being spiral too it made it very difficult to get up and down, the plastic handrail felt very insecure. When we arrived a welcome note offered bags to empty your case into as you wouldn't be able to get a suitcase up the stairs! (No bags present)
Bedrooms with very restricted height - nice touch having coaster for drinks up there but I would like to see someone getting up the staircase carrying a mug let alone sit in the bed to drink it!
Bathroom needs a refresh, the shower is very tired and the bathroom floor tiles are ripped exposing the chipboard flooring.
Hugh numbers of woodlice crawling on walls, ceilings, floors, inside kitchen cupboards. (Did mention to the owner during the stay, they said there was a problem with them, all they could do was spray around the skirting boards whilst we were out).
