Really nice host that made himself available for us without being intrusive or demanding. The place is lovely, spacious, comfy beds, comfy sofa, kitchen with everything you need. Games, cards were in a draw. Felt like they thought about the guests having a good experience in particular families but also couples as they have a lovely big tv that you can easily connect ur netflix to or if you don't have that you can watch normal tv. Cant think of anything they could do to improve felt like they were experienced in hosting and providing a good home for people to have a little vacation. We drove i would say that without a car it would be difficult staying there you would either need to walk alot or get taxi’s but we had a car as it was a uk holiday so it was fantastic weymouth beach is not too far of a drive, roads are lovely to drive on and the lighthouse or coastguard tower is a wonderful area to explore although my mum fell so be careful luckily they have a first aid kit so we could disinfectant it. Very very happy and definitely would recommend to others or come back again ourselves.
Struggling to think of any improvements. I think shower gel and shampoo weren’t provided but we had our own so wasn’t an issue. There was nothing I didn’t like though and the supermarkets are nearby, some milk and biscuits were left for us which made it feel quite welcoming. Can’t ask for more

Attached to the bunkhouse but separate . Clear views of the lighthouse & ocean . Could watch the sunrise and set. Everything 4 adults needed after walking & climbing . Great cooking facilities and so clean
Bit of a faff going through Sykes. Multiple emails , messages and not easy to contact . However hosts excellent. Note key code sent on the day . Hopefully Sykes will change the instructions .

The location is outstanding, it feels remote and wild but is not far from facilities including a lovely cafe/gift shop by the lighthouse. There is much to explore on the "island" and the traditional seaside amenities are also close by in Weymouth. The coastline is stunning, the kids loved clambering on the rocks and we were thrilled to be able to watch seals in the coves. The accommodation is comfortable, very well equipped and maintained. The host was very welcoming and helpful.
I only encountered one problem but it was a biggie. The property is managed by Sykes Cottages who were entirely unhelpful and unresponsive to enquiries - to the point of causing a good deal of stress. Booking.com seemed equally unable to get a reply from them leaving me feeling helpless. Eventually I managed to track down contact details for the property owners myself online and they were able to reassure me and to provide all the information I needed.

The property was clean and comfortable with attention to detail being at the forefront of the property. Add this to the stunning views, peace and tranquility makes perfect place to stay.
