We loved everything about the property. Carmen was incredible and truly made our holiday. She made the best tomato frisella in Puglia, provided us with so much local knowledge and history from places to visit and where to eat and booked us much needed spa treatments. I couldn’t recommend this property enough!!

What did you like about the property?
The location is excellent. It is just outside Polignano’s old town, around a five-minute walk away, with plenty of shops, restaurants and the main centre all close by. It is easy to find, feels safe and gives you lots of choice without needing to travel far.
The family-run staff were also a real highlight. They were incredibly kind and helpful, even months before our stay, helping with restaurant bookings and explaining the parking arrangements. You really feel looked after before you even arrive.
The rooms are spacious and well presented, and the rooftop breakfast is small but very good, with plenty of choice and hot dishes available.
The value is also excellent. The room rate was very competitive for the location and quality, and we would happily have paid more and still felt satisfied.
What didn’t you like about the property?
More observations than negatives. There is no parking directly at the property and parking outside is restricted, although there is secure underground parking nearby at around €25 per night in August. A smaller car would make things easier.
The main issue for us was the air conditioning. Our room was very spacious and became quite warm, so we needed the air conditioning on a high setting. It was also quite noisy at night and seemed to work hard without cooling the whole room evenly.
