People were quiet and nice. I slept quite well during staying.

Fridge seemed to be cleaned.

Excellent location to get everywhere via the nearest Southport tram and bus stations. The staff are super friendly, especially the manager; she helped me check in easily after my card was hacked in Sydney. The common space is fabulous, with a clean kitchen and sinks. Breakfast is simple but great value, featuring toast, oats, butter, jam, and milk, with fruits like bananas or mandarin oranges on some days. They offer a free meal two nights a week, but my experience was that the rice was undercooked. However, this is no big deal because I truly appreciate the staff's attitude—the guy tried to scoop as much food as possible for me, even though I was the last person in a long queue. I hate wasting food, but I had to throw it in the garbage because it was still raw. I am sorry about that, but I am really grateful for your efforts. A free meal is not just an amenity; it builds a connection between us. Good job!

Some guests walked super loudly at night, but it is not a big deal since everyone has different habits. However, I think the top bunk needs a couple of handles to help guests climb up and down more easily. Because I slipped suddenly many times, even though I tried to find a stable hold to keep my balance.

I have managed a backpackers lodge in Queenstown New Zealand and this is the best backparckers accomodation I have ever experienced. It was always clean and I can see that management have a great system in place to keep it clean. The utensils were cleaned by tenants and plentiful, lots of everything. The staff were very friendly and accomodating and the atmosphere was incredible. I would definitely return again and tell all my friends and family about top notch backpackers.
