No. 9 is a waterside cottage in the town of Fareham situated at the top of Portsmouth Harbour. This cosy family home offers everything you could need for a family getaway. There are three bedrooms, one with a super king bed when locked together or two singles when apart, one with a double bed and a third with bunk beds. There is a living room, separate dining room and kitchen along with a family bathroom, an additional downstairs toilet and utility room. Outside, the cottage overlooks the tidal Fareham Creek which is now part of the English Coastal Path, an SSSI area frequented by egrets, cormorants, herons and other wading birds, yet you are only a five-minute walk from the town centre where you will find a large selection of pubs, cafes, independent restaurants and takeaways. The local recreation ground is 100 metres from the front door, it is the home of Fareham and Crofton Cricket Club. There is a children’s play area and plenty of space to exercise four legged visitors. If you want to get out on the Creek you can hire stand up paddle boards and kayaks from Fareham Marina.
