Stay in this fantastic Edwardian cottage overlooking the water where you can launch a SUP board directly from the garden! Newly decorated with a brand new kitchen offering an amazing view over the water. Walking distance of the town centre, many local pubs and independent restaurants, this pet-friendly family home with EV charger is the perfect base. Easily visit the nearby cities of Portsmouth, Southampton and Winchester. Our reviews speak for themselves and you won't be disappointed!! No. 9 is a waterside cottage in the town of Fareham situated at the top of Portsmouth Harbour. This cosy family home offers everything you could need for a family getaway. There are three bedrooms, one with a super king bed when locked together or two singles when apart, one with a double bed and a third with bunk beds. There is a living room, separate dining room and kitchen along with a family bathroom, an additional downstairs toilet and utility room. Outside, the cottage overlooks the tidal Fareham Creek which is now part of the English Coastal Path, an SSSI area frequented by egrets, cormorants, herons and other wading birds, yet you are only a five-minute walk from the town centre where you will find a large selection of pubs, cafes, independent restaurants and takeaways. The local recreation ground is 100 metres from the front door, it is the home of Fareham and Crofton Cricket Club. There is a children’s play area and plenty of space to exercise four legged visitors. If you want to get out on the Creek you can hire stand up paddle boards and kayaks from Fareham Marina. Perhaps you prefer to watch the on-water activities, so head down to the quayside in the picturesque village of Hamble 10 miles away, grab a coffee at the waterside café and watch the yachts on one of the busiest waterways in England. Our conveniently located property offers excellent transportation options for exploring the surrounding area. You'll find that it's just one mile from J11 of the M27, making it easily accessible by car. Additionally, the mainline station is also a mere mile away, ensuring convenient train travel. For those relying on public transportation, the bus station is just a ten-minute walk away and serves National Express routes, as well as regular routes to Portsmouth, Southampton, and Winchester.
