Spectacular views, location and service. This place was so beautiful we barely wanted to leave to explore the area. The sights and sounds from each window and balcony were other worldly. Catherine and Shane provide a whole experience, they chopped fresh coconuts down from the trees outside for us to drink, we were also gifted fresh papaya from the trees as well as pineapple, eggs & bread. Catherine’s food at the restaurant was delicious and we even had it delivered to the room one evening. The cabin design is thoughtful and tasteful. We loved the quietness and seclusion of this wild jungle paradise.
The beaches are beautiful but involve a bit of hilly driving/walking but are still so worth it and are surrounded by wildlife, that’s if you even want to leave the beautiful cabin.

Shane and Kathy are phenomenal hosts. They are always responsive and very helpful with absolutely everything. The place itself is a beautiful cabin in a phenomenal area. We stayed for three nights but could have stayed much longer since the area is so beautiful and our hosts provided us with many recommendations of what to do in the area. We went diving at Caño Island which was spectacular and went to Naguala Waterfall with Wilbur and did a night tour with Consuelo (both highly recommended!). All in all an amazing place to stay.

Gorgeous view of the ocean and great front and back decks to hide from the sun. The cabina is adorable and little things like water bottles and to go coffee mugs were a great touch. The beach is close and almost feels private. The family is lovely and did all they could to make our stay comfortable. This is a real gem!

El sitio es precioso, muy nuevo, súper limpio, con todo lo necesario, y con unas vistas espectaculares al mar y al bosque. Parece que estás en el paraíso. Los dueños, Katherine y Shane son increíblemente amables. Nos ayudaron en todo, nos contrataron los mejores tours, nos dieron un montón de consejos de sitios para ver, nos dejaron cosas de comer en la cocina y respondieron a todas nuestras preguntas con una paciencia infinita. Estuvieron pendientes de absolutamente todo. Además, tienen un restaurante donde se puede desayunar, comer y/o cenar, con comida muy rica, muy casera y super bien de precio. La playa está a 5m bajando unas escaleras. Es la playa más bonita de Costa Rica. Y vimos un montón de animales. Merece la pena alojarse aquí. Es un sitio totalmente recomendable.
