Location was great, but otherwise find another place to stay.
We had a difficult experience with checking in. I used the info in the property details to communicate when we would check in (had a tour from 3-6pm). Had a random person contact me on WhatsApp asking if I had a reservation in Italy. Did not seem to know who I was, wouldn't answer with their name or who they worked for. Wanted my confirmation number and name, which I provided, but said that wasn't enough. Called them on the phone, still couldn't get who they worked for so I contacted Booking.com. Couldn't get a response from them for 24 hours, too late. Finally found another number for the rental company and called them to work things out. The owner or the local office, not sure, finally responded to me at 5:45 saying they couldn't put us in our flat bc of a "problem" and they had to move us. Put us in another flat in the same building, which actually was comfier than the one we had booked, but we could only stay there one night. They made us move again in the morning, but wouldn't confirm whether we could stay in the same place for the two nights until I asked, repeatedly, for an answer again at 10am that morning (after messaging the night before asking whether we'd have to move and pack up our stuff).
In the new place, the bed was super hard, no curtains on the only two windows in the unit, the A/C unit was in the kitchen, so zero air flow reached the bedroom. It was probably about 80 degrees F overnight. Wifi never worked in either unit, despite asking for help multiple times. The tv didn't work (screen was clearly damaged when it turned on - photos to prove it), and we're not big tv people but the French Open was on and we wanted to see the scores. The first flat didn't even have coffee capsules that matched the Nespresso maker they provided. When I messaged, they said "someone must have taken all the capsules" (then the cleaner should be refilling it).
So, stuff I "liked"??
Check in was terrible. Communication was lacking, and delayed when we did have someone who responded. Had to move flats for each night. Hard bed. No air flow reached us, and no windows in the bedroom. No wifi that worked. Cost a fortune for the hassle we went through. Clorinda who met me with the keys did try to help with the wifi, but couldn't figure out how to get it to work. She said it would be fair for us to stay in one place both nights, but she couldn't make that call and to ask for them to at least move our luggage for us while we were out on a tour (which they did).
