The villa is located right off a main bus route, so it's easy to get there from the Forio port with you luggage. Busses are frequent, and stop almost directly outside the property. The accommodation itself is a one bedroom place in a gated property with a few other houses on site, but the pool was only available to us, not for use by others. We were surprised to find a private house with private pool for such a great price.
Gardens are beautiful and professionally kept. You can get a glimpse of the sea to the west, and the stunning peak of Mount Epomeo to the east. Sunsets by the pool were breathtaking.
Inside there's a large kitchen with standard amenities, coffee to last the week, some snacks, and some local wine and prosecco was provided as a welcome gift. There's a full bathroom + an outdoor shower which was particularly refreshing. The beds were the only let down as it was two twin beds pushed together. There's also a pull out sofa bed in the lounge if you had guests / kids.
The hosts were extremely helpful and always available to answer questions. They also helped us arrange a boat trip with a local boat tour which was amazing.
We highly recommend checking out the sunset sushi truck at the nearby cliffs (March 15 - Oct 15) and the Poseidon Gardens Thermal Resort which are both within walking distance.
Beds could have been more comfortable. There was a little noise from the highway, but not bad. There are a lot of mosquitoes on the island, so bring bug spray and antihistamines.
