Our hosts, Kordula and her husband Tasos, were polite and supportive. The location of the house is fantastic. It is just a few minutes' walk from the attractions of the Pythagorion area, yet it is equally quiet during the night when it's time to rest. It sits right above the roads that provide easy car access to other parts of the island. It is also very close to a large, free parking lot where you can park your vehicle. Additionally, access to the sea is possible within just a few minutes. Without having to drive to distant beaches, you can enjoy the sea early in the morning while everyone else is asleep, have your first morning coffee, or lay down on your mat to greet the sun for a bit of peace and balance right by the seaside in front of that same parking lot. Therefore, the location is simply wonderful. Furthermore, the house and the terrace caught the refreshing breeze beautifully, coming from both the close seaside and the north. There are also quietly operating air conditioners in both rooms. A huge plus was the second bedroom, which featured a double bed prepared with spotless, fragrant sheets, so we didn't have to sleep on flattened on a sofa bed. Everything was perfectly sufficient.
Everything is exactly as it looks in the photos. Neither more nor less. Even though it might be unfair to call it a shortcoming of the house, I am writing this because it is something that needs to be known—and I hadn’t quite thought about it in the excitement of making the reservation. The house is small. In the bathroom area, things have understandably been arranged with the smallest possible layout, and the same goes for the kitchen area. Even if most of the day is spent outside, one still looks for a bit of sofa comfort after the hustle and bustle of day and night. For this reason, and because the small architecture of the house leaves no room for a sofa, you either have to lie down on the bed or sit on a chair. However, when Kordula immediately showed up with a cushion for the concrete seating area on the terrace to turn our suggestion into comfort, it warms your heart, and you realize that goodwill and kindness are sometimes the most beautiful things that instantly cover up any flaw. For the same reason, you cannot move around spacious-wise in the kitchen either. With the small but adequate refrigerator, it is possible to store enough items for your breakfast.
