The hosts were very warm and welcoming. We used a translation app to communicate. The view is spectacular, especially in the morning when the valley is covered in clouds. The food is delicious. The beds are comfortable. The dog is very friendly and comes to say hi regularly. We hiked up and down the road to go to a fantastic restaurant in the village at the foot of the hill. It's a bit of a trek but a great little adventure. You can even dip into the river down there.
We were also able to drive up the road without a 4WD.
The bathroom is down a flight of stairs and outside. There is no hot water. This wasn't a problem for us at all and added to the atmosphere, but people should know before they book so they are not disappointed. This might be temporary though, not sure.
