A fabulous stay. I booked for 3 days but stayed for 7 days. The location was in the upper village where I could look out upon the lower village and landscape. The bed was very comforting with its heavy blanket. Despite the lack of heat in the bedroom, I felt very warm and comfortable at night. It can get cold at night even in June. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced and the hosts very gracious and accommodating. Plenty of hot water for showers and my room very spacious. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would certainly come back if I visit the area again.
Only one bathroom which wasn’t too much of an issue as I woke earlier than most people to go hiking. When I arrived by shared taxi from Mestia, the driver was going to drop me off at the property but the locals were not familiar with Zamo Guesthouse. The sign on the fence calls it Zamir Guesthouse but it is just uphill from the Cinema Dede.

Breakfast was brilliant. Host even invited us to warm ourselves at the base floor of the house after we came back from dinner, a bit wet and cold from raining. Sitting there by an oven they use for making Kachapuri, chatting with Marekhi and listening her singing with her nephews and playing traditional Georgian musical instrument are such a warm lovely night which we would never forget.
No quietness until late at night. That's what you should expect when staying with the host family members of almost ten altogether.
