We have gotten fresh milk from the owners cows.
Helpful to arrange further transport. Free coffee and tea. Breakfast 9am. Warm blanket.
They didn't speak English. Uncomfortable seats outside (not very inviting). No dinner option.

You won't find a boutique hotel in Ushguli, although the place would deserve one. Yet all my appreciation for the local people who are trying to develop some tourism in this unique place.
This is more like a summer guest house. I spent a night there in the middle of April, on a cold wave, with big snow. The place was cold. But the real problem is the noise. Guest rooms are on the ground floor, with the host living under them. The floor has almost no noise isolation. So after arrival I was listening to 1-2 hours of phone calls, then another 1-2 hours of chat and finally, when they went to sleep, snoring started. And as a bonus, I had a mouse visiting my room.

Good location, friendly host who helped arrange a taxi for us to Kutaisi. The shower and bathroom were nice. A large local breakfast was provided.
In the bedroom there were over 100 large flies on every surface in the room. It was really hard to get rid of them. It would be great if the host could install some kind of fly screen.
