-To keep our home beautiful, we ask that you not hang decorations on the walls. Tape, tacks, and other adhesives tend to peel paint and leave marks, etc. Glitter and confetti decor are also prohibited both inside and outside. Evidence will result in an additional cleaning fee of $250, plus the cost of damages to home.
-Enjoy a smoke, just not inside. Please ensure all doors and windows are shut and dispose of your ends in the outdoor trash bins. Indoor smoking will result in a sizable fine.
-Reservations made during Festivals and Conferences are non-refundable, i.e., SXSW, ACL, F-1, etc.

Property was just like pictures, the owner provided everything needed including washer/dryer for use. Small pool outback was great on hot spring days.

One of the main reasons I booked this property was the cute pool in the back. When we arrived, the pool was murky and dirty, sadly. Since we got in late, I scooped out the debris hoping that would help and it would be good by morning with the filtration system. (Since you’re not allowed in the book after 10 pm…)
The next morning it was still pretty murky so I found spa test strips in the garage and from the strips indicated the pool had not been cleaned or treated in quite a while.
The house itself was very cute and the finishings were nice! Location was in a quaint spot deep in east 6th near plenty of foliage and local dives. It was quite hot so, we were highly looking forward to the pool being taken care of by the time we got back the next evening from our adventures but sadly nothing was ever done about the pool.
For the management to have such strict policies on linens alone, I’d expect the place to be in top shape prior to guest arrivals… I reached out expressing my disappointment without any attempt to amend other than saying they would send out a pool guy but never did…
Beware and request the pool is cleaned prior to arrival if you plan on using it…
