Great hotel. Everything good!

We checked in the evening of the Wednesday, June 3. The desk clerk was slightly unwelcoming. The room did not have a fridge and we had food so rather than bringing a fridge, she had us move all of our stuff to a different room.
Actually, there was another gentleman working who said he would be happy to tightly cover and label our food and put in their fridge, if one could not be found. He was VERY helpful and kind! This IS the one right next to the Big Texan restaurant, which is ALWAYS fun. We have stayed here MULTIPLE times over the years.
I thought it was odd when we checked in, she said late check out is ONLY for IHG members… glad I am one?

The breakfast was hot and had many choices. Waffles are always a hit for our family. The dining area was large and you didn’t feel cramped while eating. Every person that worked there was friendly and went out of their way to help us. The pool is small but was nice on a hot summer day. We will always book a room here when we come to visit Montrose.
