Hótel Jökulsárlón - Glacier Lagoon Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Hótel Jökulsárlón – Glacier Lagoon Hotel. The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by Iceland’s incredible landscape and close to the glacier lagoon. The hotel is modern, very comfortable and beautifully designed. Our room was spacious, cozy and spotless, and the outdoor hot tubs were the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Everything was just perfect for a relaxing and memorable stay in Iceland. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel!

It is beautiful has geothermal hot tubs , sauna and it sits on a river where I was filming swans from the hot tub . They have a Michelin restaurant ave the food was excellent

The property was great the staff ok . Not overly friendly or warm . We slept 7 min past breakfast being over bc we were so jet legged from our travel . I called the front desk they said maybe I a come grab something. I ran over right away but they were clearing up and as I explained we missed breakfast and can I have some pastries at least they informed me there wasn’t anything left . I feel that sine we paid to have breakfast included and it is over 1 k a night they should have tried to give me a few pastries. We ended up driving and paying elsewhere but it is an isolated place so hard to find other places . This experience really took away from the luster of ranga :(

This resort was absolutely beautiful. We loved the classic Scandinavian architecture. The spa area was very relaxing with amazing views of the surrounding nature. The restaurant was amazing. Food was delicious and they had an extensive breakfast buffet. We dined her for dinner and breakfast. The lobby bar made fantastic craft cocktails. I am so happy I splurged and booked this hotel. It is definitely worth the money. I did upgrade my room to a glacier view room, which really wasn't necessary. We had limited view of the glacier due to cloud coverage and rain during our stay. I would forgo this upgrade if I stayed here again.

There was nothing that I didn't like. I was totally happy and satisfied with the experience here. I will definitely stay here again if I visit glacier lagoon again in the future. I would definitely stay here more than 1 night if I have the opportunity.

This hotel is beautiful and I really love many things about it, like the pools, sauna, restaurant and architecture.

I found the pillows to be very uncomfortable- and apparently so did my client. Even though the hotel is wonderful in many ways, the basics of securing a good night sleep on a comfortable mattress and pillow are essential.
