The location was amazing, you walk less than 10 mins from the railroad station through the charming village of Marsden to get to the renovated historic property. Kitchen was amazingly well equipped for cooking and enjoying with a group. All sheets, towels provided as well, toilet paper, kitchen cloths, oil and salt and pepper - just very thoughtful and comfortable. Host couldn't have been more helpful or kind, was constantly available via Whatsapp and really gave us great advice and direction. The house is really cute and well renovated, we loved being able to walk right to the coffee place, grocery, pub, restaurants butcher and bakery in mere minutes. Marsden is an absolutely lovely village and there are tons of walks you can do directly on foot from the house - no need for a car. Railroad connection to Manchester and Manchester airport make this an ideal place for a lil escape to the countryside. Highly recommend for a group of friends or a family. Thank you so much!
Would have loved some outdoor space to hang out and look at the views! Some shower gel and shampoo would have been a lovely addition. The living room being upstairs, separate from the kitchen, was a bit inconvenient for hanging out, and the top bedroom not having a door as well. Some bedrooms/beds are much smaller than others so more suited to kids than adults. Mattresses could be comfier. But these are just small things - we loved our stay!

Great location and well equipped kitchen. Two bathrooms for four bedrooms made it comfortable for the six of us staying.
Fluffy towels provided.
Large lounge and dining area with a small balcony.
The kitchen stools were quite tall, making you too high to eat comfortably. The bedrooms had very little wardrobe space.
