Punching a little above its weight

Location and comfortable unit for our stay

Most disappointing hotel stay I’ve ever had.

Room looked nothing like photos. It was a vacant apartment that had shoddy old furniture, no rug, minimal cutlery, no glassware, no working kettle or toaster. Looked like a backpackers hostel. Had to ask for power to be turned on. WiFi dead in early morning. Came here to run the marathon and it ruined my trip. The most disappointing hotel stay I’ve ever had. Only good thing was location. My advice - STAY ELSEWHERE

I stayed here 5 years ago in the penthouse. Decided to stay again as I loved it the first time. This time however was

Location is fantastic

* Not clean * No toilet paper * Aircon wouldn’t go below 27.5 and was not good * No bin in kitchen * No bin bags * Cockroaches (they said unit had been sprayed, but they were not dying) * Glass around bar upstairs by the pool * Bar area upstairs was filthy and bar fridge unusable as it was full of beer * Dried urine on 2 toilet seats. Had to clean one so we could use it * Door in kitchen is broken * Corner of upstairs bar is broken * Black mould in toilet * Real estate agent just walked into the apartment as he was holding an open house. He said management knew of this, however management denied this
