Springbank Studio

Good location for what we were doing, although it was a little confusing right at the end as it said road closed but ended up not being. Very tight road, but ok once past that little stretch. Great studio & had everything we needed, the shower is great albeit a little cramped. Kitchen was functional & has a 2 ring induction hob, as well as microwave, fridge, cupboard space. It was very warm in there, but we were grateful for the fan. Milk jiggies, tea & coffee were provided which was a nice addition. Good value for money. Property was also very clean & comfortable. Parking for 2 cars which was handy as we’d brought both cars.

Couldn’t lock the back door & we were going out in the evening so just made sure we put out things locked away in our suitcases. That was really the only negative. All in all a great stay with everything we need. Would highly recommend.

Quiet location, 20 minutes walk to the main amenities. 35 minutes drive to Southampton cruise port.

It was very hot when we went, and there was a fan provided. But, if anything, the fan was too good. It was enormous, and quite loud. Two smaller fans would have been better than one big one. EV charging would be useful. Maybe cut the brambles away from the car parking spot.

The studio was within easy access to Southampton. It was very clean and tidy. We really appreciated the tea, coffee, water and milk - thank you. Also, shower gel and shampoo were a bonus.

Nothing that we didn't like but a couple of suggestions for self catering guests. There is a microwave but no dishes or bowls for the microwave for cooking food. Couldn't find any scissors and a smaller saucepan instead of 2 large ones would be useful.

Good location, quiet area, clean and well-presented. Shower worked well. Studio was a good temperature.

Poor WiFi that only worked intermittently. Boiler right next to bed was very loud and would come on at random intervals during the night. Curtains were not black-out lined, and we were woken up by outside security light turning on during the night, and by sunrise. Slept poorly due to light and sound disturbances. We feel most of these problems could easily be fixed with a bit of effort (maybe apart from the boiler).
