Hot tub was great, nice a private, lodge was clean and tidy and spacious for our daughter to play.
I liked as a property as a whole, the WiFi was ok but didn’t affect stay.

Nice and spacious
Cobwebs and leaves on veranda could have been cleaned off before arrival

Was a lovely stay, kids absolutely loved it and felt really safe and put at ease it was enclosed as this is very rare! Lovely staff, hot tub was our favourite- the stay was fab, couldn’t fault it!
Only thing I would say, was the flies and ants inside the place- but is understandable with the time of year and location so nothing really could be done- might be worth keeping a fly spray in the lodge🤣

Location is handy for getting into York
Main selling point over other lodges was the hot tub but we only used it once as the foisty smell is very off putting
The main double bed was extremely uncomfortable and had to move into the the other bedroom in the middle of the night
