Real Escapes Properties is pleased to offer this two bedroom, two bathroom ocean front residence at Shipwatch on St. Simons Island. The sought-after Shipwatch Community is located on the stretch of beach between the historic Coast Guard Station and Massengale Park. With just 52 units in the complex, Shipwatch is a favorite destination for families, couples and snowbirds alike.
The master bedroom features a King bed and en-suite with a tub/shower combination. The guest bedroom has two twin beds. The second bath is a full bathroom with tub/shower combination.
Amenities include secured gated entry, pool, covered parking, grass lawn, community grill and private boardwalk to the beach. Each condo has two bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, an open dining/ living room, kitchen and balcony. Unless specified, residences do not offer ocean views.

• Any group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants 5 persons.
• One dog allowed with the addition of the $100 pet fee.
• Parking is available for 2 vehicles.
•The beach is accessible via Shipwatch's private boardwalk. The Pier/Village area is 2 miles away
Minimum Age to Rent is 25 years old - this applies to all guests with the exception of multi-generational families.

• Starter Supply of Toilet Paper, Soap, Paper Towels and Trash Bag. Any additional supplies needed during tenancy will be the responsibility of the guest.

Immaculately clean, pet friendly property. Well appointed, nicely updated unit. Pool was sparkling and enjoyable. Beach access was great. This property was perfect for us & we will definitely return !!

While we enjoyed our stay, I rate 3 stars for 2 reasons. Most significantly, the path to the beach was misleading from the photos. It’s much further than the bushes, and the path floods easily (and becomes a breeding ground for gnats & mosquitoes). The boardwalk does not extend so it’s a trek. (They just finished a long boardwalk at the public access one street over, so might try that. It was under construction while we visited.) The second is that there was a layer of dust on the closet coat hangers. Not a huge deal, but didn’t give me a feeling of cleanliness.Unfortunately, I think the weather played a lot into our experience. Several days of rain brought significant bugs - to the point the city AND the property were spraying. Sometimes multiple times a day. I appreciate that the property made such an effort, but I think it was a losing battle. After buying bug spray it was more enjoyable!The location is great - easy bike ride to the village for my kids. Pool is adequate and appreciate the outdoor shower near the pool to rinse off. The beach has lifeguards which is nice, too.
