One of the few original Taipei hotels still remaining. It is a unique building full of charm, with a wonderful 1950s–1960s atmosphere and a perfect location right next to the night market. I love staying here because there are very few hotels like this left. It offers a rare glimpse into Taipei’s architectural and cultural past.
The rooms could use a bit of renovation, and mosquito screens on the windows would be a very welcome addition.

Sehr gute Lage mitten im Nachtmarkt. Auf unserem Stockwerk gab es einen Security Mann, der im Gang geschlafen hat und damit absolute Sicherheit gewährleistet hat.
Die Ausstattung war insgesamt etwas spärlich, das Zimmer war nicht viel größer als die Matratze, die darin lag. Wir hatten allerdings aber auch die sehr, sehr günstigen Zimmer im vierten Stock, die für die Belegung mit einer Person vorgesehen waren.
