Heather was so welcoming and lovely, and the location was gorgeous and oldly worldly. The apartment was characterful, quirky and welcoming and heather made the effort to place fresh flowers and the bed linen was cosy. The floors at the back of the cottage were on a slant, but got used to this quickly. Well equipped with some additional essentials like tea, salt oil etc. Pub had character and was really friendly. Great spot for access to Dartmoor!
We were not aware that this was connected to another property upstairs, 2 of 3 nights we luckily slept well but were woken by very loud neighbours creaking/walking above on last night/morning. The property was a bit dusty in places which could be improved. That said the character of the place made up for it.

Heather was the perfect host, she went above and beyond to make all of her guests feel welcomed. The property itself met our expectations, clean and comfortable and very dog friendly.
