Hartelijke en gezellige brabantse familie, ze doen hun best om het naar je zin te maken. Ruime studio, bed was goed, lekker geslapen. Ook heel fijn, aparte dekbedden. Airco werkte goed en douche was heerlijk. Buitenterras ruim en uitzicht op zwembad. We konden zelf dagelijks schone handdoeken halen, als nodig. De familie wast de kleding voor een kleine vergoeding.
De studio miste wel wat zaken, nacht/ladekastjes, extra lampjes, stroompunten voor opladen, grote passpiegel en kledingkast was ruim maar niet handig, zou paar plankjes erbij doen. Buitenterras af en toe vliegen vanwege de paardenmanage die ernaast ligt. Omgeving direct is niks te doen, minimaal wel 20 min met auto om ergens te eten ofzo. Je moet wel elke dag op pad gaan, stranden en Malaga ong 35 minuut met de auto. Ontbijt was ok, maar geen afwisseling en ik miste echt fruit, terwijl dat zo lekker is in zuid spanje.

Beautiful peaceful location away from the hustle and bustle. Lots of space to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
Approximately 30 mins in car from Malaga central so costly in terms of taxis etc. Little to do in the area surrounding the property with very little amenities such as shops

This trip was our first visit to mainland Spain. We didn't want seaside hotels with nothing but restaurants and noisy bars besides the beach. We were interested in seeing how villages live, what the plots of land and buildings looked like. We also wanted to be able to get to the sights in a rental car, avoiding traffic. So, we chose La Casa de Familia.
Would we recommend this hotel to our friends? Definitely yes. 👍
By choosing La Casa de Familia, you can:
1. Drive 30 minutes to Marbella beach and park in the Parque Mediterráneo parking lot for €1/6 hours. The photo on Google Maps is outdated, and there's no parking.
2. Visit Ronda. Set Avenida Juan Pablo II Ronda in your GPS, and you can park there for free. The old town is a 10-15-minute walk away. Ronda is about an hour and a half away.
3. Combine your trip to Ronda with the indescribable beauty of the Mirador de Tres Embalses viewpoint. It's advisable to wear sneakers when climbing the steps there.
4. Gibraltar: choose a route with free roads. The difference is 10 minutes. Gibraltar has a fantastic botanical garden, free of charge.
5. Mijas. OMG.
And so much more thanks to La cada de familia! Wonderful pool, breakfast, and a cozy room.
P.S.1. Guys, if you're going on a day trip, turn off the air conditioning. It's part of the room price. Let's help the hosts keep their prices at their current level! 💪

P.S.2. Some reviews mentioned the poor access road to the hotel. We can reassure you that the local authorities, rather than embarrass themselves in front of us, have fixed it. 🤣
