Donelle responded to every single question incredibly quickly, which I really appreciated! The bed was extremely comfortable, and the record player was such a nice, thoughtful touch that added to the overall atmosphere. The tranquility and sense of peace I gained from this stay were truly priceless, and the outdoor shower was honestly the highlight for me! Overall, it was an incredibly peaceful, comfortable, and refreshing experience. There was also a delicious baked treat waiting for me upon arrival, which I thought was super sweet and such a thoughtful way to welcome me.
Although I didn’t have any intention of using the indoor tub, I did notice that it could have been a bit cleaner; the host later clarified that what I noticed was permanent wear/nicks in the tub’s surface. I also personally would have preferred white bed linens. Aside from those minor details, I honestly have no complaints about my stay. Everything else was great, and I enjoyed my time there.

This is a truly special place where we enjoyed privacy and solitude in nature. The view from the treehouse looking through the back towards the salt marshes was awesome. Especially spectacular was watching a thunderstorm at night. The outdoor shower was so amazing, especially morning showers enjoying the views of the live oak that cradles the treehouse. The owner was a fantastic communicator, clear, responsive, and welcoming. There was even a little gift of fresh locally-made pastries waiting on bed when we arrived. Great wildlife watching opportunities as well! We saw shore birds, monarchs, and some small mammals.
To get a perfect morning view, it would be great if the owner would leave a long squeegee on a tall stick that could be used to gently wick away the moisture on the outside of the window. The windows get steamed up every morning and the view is obscured.

I had a wonderful stay! The space was very clean, cute, and cozy, with everything I needed for a relaxing overnight trip. The view was beautiful, and I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. It was the perfect place for a solo getaway. I also really appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the snacks and other little details that made the stay feel extra special. I would definitely stay here again!
