Fantastic location, close to shops, train and bus stations and reasonably quiet

Location was excellent, close to the underground station so very easy to get around and also lots to do virtually on the doorstep.
Facilities in the apartment were exceptional, everything you could possibly need, even a washer/dryer!
Bathroom was on the small side and the stairs could be an issue for some.

Location was optimal.
The shower was nice and warm, however the shower head needed to be repaired/replaced to facilitate better movement. Otherwise all good.

We loved the location (so close to High Street Kensington) plus the large windows letting the sunlight into our room.
It was great to have cooking facilities and utensils plus a washing machine all in this smallish room! The bed was comfortable and the bathroom tiny but all we needed.
It's a beautiful old and much-used building for sure with wear and tear from non stop use, but the room has all a couple needs (more coathangers!) if you're in London to see friends and enjoy sight-seeing like we were.
We had to wait 25 minutes to be let in despite instructions: ie ringing 30 mins before arrival. Having being told someone would be there to meet us, he wasn't, and after we rang again he was still another 10 mins.
Although happy with small but light room, the tiny bathroom smelt terrible, like sewerage/old pipes or cleaning chemicals mixed with overused/unsanitary mops. So in morning we left the bathroom door open with windows open for whole day and when we returned the smell had almost completely gone.
Apart from that, the broken blinds on both windows need replacing, as does the broken frame on shower door, and some of the really old pillows... and an old toilet brush with no handle is pretty disgusting.
The compact kitchen has absolutely everything but not one cloth/sponge or tea towel to wash/clean/dry dishes etc.
Lastly, before we left today we accidentally put in wrong code to enter our room and our door opened anyway!!!
Would still recommend for amazing location, light-filled room, and facilities, but this great place needs more care.
